This Halloween add some extra cuteness to your pumpkins with our tutorial for a DIY Animal Pumpkin Raccoon! There is nothing scary about this raccoonIt is Halloween time, have you started crafting your pumpkins yet? We are loving the faux pumpkins this year to turn the faux pumpkin into cute animals! We used super simple crafting supplies to transform the foam pumpkin into something so cute! Nothing scary about this raccoon. This project is perfect for a craft night or for a fun family activity. We are sharing the printable template for this raccoon, as well as an owl and a fox.
Print the raccoon template and cut each piece. Then trace the pieces onto the appropriate colored paper (white, gray and black). Cut the pieces from the paper.
Using the glue dots, adhere the nose, eyes and stripe to the white facial background. Then stick the glue dots on the back corners of the face and stick to the pumpkin.
Next it is time to add the ears. First glue the gray paper ears onto the larger black ears. Then fold down the bottom quarter inch. Add glue dots and adhere to top left and right of pumpkin.
Next, make sure you have cut some gray strips to add to the black tail. Glue the strips into the tail. Fold the bottom half inch of tail and add glue dots. Adhere to the side of pumpkin.
