Copper has become such a huge trend for fall and winter weddings and we couldn't wait to find some unique and beautiful ways to incorporate this gorgeous metal into our recent Teal & Orange Wedding! The rich, copper tone looks simply stunning when mixed with a deep, jewel-toned teal and we were able to combine both of these colors with our DIY Copper Patinated Pumpkin! They were so simple to make and added a stunning, modern touch to the table!

Dip a Sponge Paint Brush into the Veridigris color from the Vintaj® Patina™ Weathered Copper Beading Paints. Sponge it onto the copper-painted pumpkin to achieve an aged, antiqued look. Allow to dry.

Now for the Copper Foil ! Take a clean Paint Brush and dab a bit of Mod Podge onto the portion of the Pumpkin and add a small piece of the Copper Foil. Allow to dry for approximately 10-15 minutes and then use a clean, dry Paint Brush to brush away any excess Copper Foil.
