There are so many special tokens you can save from your wedding day to ensure those memories stay close with you. And some of the most special memories would most definitely include those who helped you celebrate one of the biggest days of your life. That's why we're showing you how to create your very own DIY Pumpkin Guestbook. This simple and unique, fall-inspired guestbook is not only a fun way to save all of your loved ones' signatures, but can then become a cute piece of décor in your home!
Our first step is to paint the Foam Orange Pumpkin. Add Painter's Tape to the stem of the pumpkin and then coat with satin ivory spray paint. Allow to dry and remove the Painter's Tape.
We're now going to add the lettering for our Pumpkin. You can either freehand the lettering, use a stencil or a cutting machine. If writing freehand or using a stencil, use a gold or copper Sharpie for the lettering. If using a cutting machine, use adhesive, copper vinyl. The copper stands out beautifully on the ivory pumpkin.
Next, we're going to add some contemporary copper foiling. Dip a Paintbrush into the Mod Podge and dab it on the Pumpkin. Cut small portions of the Copper Foil Sheets and place them on top of the Mod Podge. Allow to dry.
Once the Copper Foil has set, take a clean, dry Paintbrush and brush away the excess Copper Foil. You will be left with some gorgeous foil detailing!
All that's left to do is display your DIY Pumpkin Guestbook with a Black Sharpie and collect those signatures!
