When hosting a donut inspired bridal shower, there's no question that donuts have to be included as a part of the decor. A simple, chic and affordable way to do this is by creating a DIY Donut Tower Centerpiece. We turned these Unfinished Wood Planter Boxes on their heads, added a bit of sparkle and a way to showcase our donuts and had a gorgeous piece of decor made perfect for our Glitz & Glaze Donut Bridal Shower!
Begin by adding 2-3 coats of White Acrylic Paint to 3 DIY Unfinished Wood Planter Boxes. Allow to dry.
Turn the painted Wood Planter Box over. Using a 5/16" drill bit, drill 2 holes into the bottom of the Box.
Measure and cut the Gold Contact Paper so it fits the interior section of the Box; approximately 3x9.5". Remove the backing from the back of the Contact Paper and stick it on the box. Use a pencil or similar object to find and punch through where the holes were made. Repeat steps 2 and 3 with the remaining 2 Planter Boxes.
Add a few coats of Pink Paint to 6 wooden dowels and then place them into the Planter Boxes.
Place the 3 Planter Boxes side by side, add in the Love is Sweet Gold Table Decor Set and add some delicious donuts to your dowels and your centerpiece is complete!
