Donut walls are currently all the rage for weddings, bridal showers and birthday parties and why wouldn't they be?! They are modernly gorgeous, stocked full of beautiful, yummy donuts and can be put together in no time! That's why we created a DIY Donut Wall for our recent Glitz & Glaze Donut Bridal Shower and were just thrilled with how it turned out and can't wait to show you how to make one of your own! All you need is a piece of pegboard, a few inexpensive supplies and some scrumptious donuts and you'll be on your way to pure donut bliss!
Start by choosing a Paint Brush and paint the medium-sized pegs from the DIY Unfinished Wood Peg Dolls a pretty shade of Pink. Set aside and allow to dry.
While the Pegs dry, cover the Stained Wood Sign with Gold Contact Paper.
Next, either stencil and cut or use a cutting machine to cut the words "Glitz & Glaze" in Pink Cardstock and then use a thin layer of Mod Podge to adhere them to the sparkly, gold sign.
Turn over the gold-covered Stained Wood Sign and add some Wood Glue to the back of it. Place it near the top, center of the pegboard and allow to dry.
Using either Command Hooks or small S hooks, hang a Faux Eucalyptus Greenery Garland across the top of the pegboard so it drapes down either side.
Add in a mix of Faux Floral Stems and fresh flowers into the Eucalyptus Greenery Garland along with a few Gold Glitter Diamond Food Picks for an extra glittery detail.
Place a variety of color coordinating donuts on the Pegs and let your guests enjoy!
