Create a versatile party prop with this DIY Tabletop Stand, hung with glass globe lanterns and draped with leafy greenery. This fun decor element adds such a fun focal point to a party table, and can be used again and again.
Before beginning, prepare a limbo set by removing all but the top peg from the side poles, and paint the entire structure black. Mix quick set concrete with an adequate amount of water, and once mixed, add to one wood centerpiece box, painted black. Fill to three quarters full, and insert the side support pole into the cement vertically. Use tape or wood shims to position the pole, and allow to set for one hour.
Using cord, lash the cross pole to the support pole. Loop around the joint where the two poles intersect from multiple directions until it is well secured.
Add greenery garland by looping and draping across the horizontal pole, and allowing the garland to drape down the sides, as well. Conceal the exposed concrete bases by adding garland into the wood boxes, as well.
Add six glass hanging globes, hung at different heights with clear fishing line. Fill the globes with reindeer moss and battery operated tealights for a charming spot of light in your bridal shower decoration.
Place the finished structure atop your party table. As you can see, this stunning focal point decoration really adds the wow factor to tables, and can be decorated in limitless ways.
