One screaming cry from these human-like plants and it may be the last thing you ever hear! They might be cute in a silly kind of way, but they are mighty powerful! Luckily, the little wizards at our recent Harry Potter Birthday Party were busy crafting up these safe, immature, Mandrake plants (with proper ear protection, of course)! This creatively crafty herbology DIY is perfect for your next Harry Potter Party or simply as a fun project for a Potter fanatic!
Start preparing to pot your mandrakes by spray painting Mini Terra Cotta Pots white. Allow each pot to dry completely.
Next, print out the Mandrake Plant Warning printable and adhere it to the front of each pot using a few dots of hot glue.
Now, fill your pot with grass filler to prep it for your mandrake.
Begin to create your custom mandrake out of modeling clay.
Be sure to form a head and root for each mandrake.
Use the back of a fine paint brush to add texture and a face to your mandrake.
Using scissors, trim a small stem of eucalyptus and insert it into the top of the mandrake.
Lastly, place your mandrake in its pot and use for spells as needed!
