Welcome guests to a Haunted Halloween Luau with these spooky Halloween pumpkin tiki statues. Inspired by my favorite tiki mug, orange foam pumpkins are transformed with bones, feathers and traditional luau attire for a tropical take on a Halloween jack-o-lantern! Download the free tiki template HERE and use it to create the tiki faces on foam pumpkins. You could also use the templates to mark out lines for carving a real pumpkin!

First, cut the elastic on the anklets from the Men's Luau Apparel Kit to create a pumpkin grass skirt. Glue the skirt 2/3 of the way down the Foam Orange Pumpkin.

Next, spray paint a candlestick black. Glue the pumpkin to the top of the candlestick. Trim the "skirt" to fit the height of the candlestick.

Next, water down gray paint and paint Ceramic Bones unevenly to get an aged look. Use a single bone or tie 2 bones together in a cross using Natural Dried Raffia Ribbon. Tie the bone(s) to the stem of the pumpkin. Use glue to secure firmly in place.

Download the free tiki face template HERE. Print out the preferred tiki face design. First, use a pencil to scribble over the back of the design. Next, place the design (scribble side down) onto the pumpkin. Draw over the design with a heavy hand and it will transfer a faint outline onto the pumpkin. Go over the pencil outline with a black sharpie to darken the design.

Here are some additional ways to add a face to your pumpkin. You could simply cut out the design and glue or decoupage the paper onto the pumpkin. If you have a cutting machine, cut out the design onto black vinyl and adhere the vinyl to the pumpkin.

Insert black and red Jumbo Duck Quills into the raffia tying the bone to the pumpkin. Use glue where necessary to secure in place.
