Print out the Free Printable Garland that says "Play Dough Bar" to hang above the table. Cut each piece with scissors then use clear tape on the back to attach to a piece of string. If you'd like to make homemade play dough, here is the simple recipe: Mix together 2 cups flour, 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil, 1/2 cup salt, and 2 Tbsp. cream of tartar. Next, add 1 cup of boiling water, food coloring, and any scent you would like. I like to add a few drops of essential oils to give the play dough a nice scent, but that step is completely optional. Finally, mix all the ingredients in a mixer for a few minutes until the play dough is smooth and the color is even. Print out these Free Printable Play Dough Labels then cut and glue them around a short plastic jar. Place the play dough in the jar until ready to use.
Gather one plastic paint palette for each child. Fill each palette with a colorful assortment of sequins, glitter, and stars in all different colors.
