Some glitter sparkle paint, tempera paint, and gold stars help transform plain wooden frames into dazzling masterpieces! Remove the wood back and plastic piece from the DIY wood frames. Kids can paint their frame any color they choose with a foam brush. We love this turquoise and orange paint. Be sure to let the paint dry before moving onto the next step.
Use another foam brush to add a coat of gold glitter paint over the top of the painted frame. This gold glitter paint really makes the frame sparkle!
Pour out a small amount of tacky glue. Dip a toothpick or a Q-tip into the glue, then press lightly onto a gold star. Press the star onto the frame and repeat until you've added as many stars to the frame as you want.
Print the Free New Years Eve Wish Printable and cut out each square with scissors. Have each child write down a wish for the next year and draw a picture to go with it.
Place the wish inside each frame and close. Display in a bedroom to help kids remember their wish for the new year!
