Pom-poms are always a good idea and they look especially festive in a red, green and white color palette for Christmas! This pom-pom Christmas wreath is easy to make thanks to pre-made yarn pom-poms. Using pre-made pom-poms saves you hours of crafting time and looks just as good (or better) than making them yourself! Start with a 14" styrofoam wreath and glue on giant yarn pom-poms along with smaller yarn pom-poms in red, green, and white.
Start by scattering two packages of large yarn pom-poms around a 14" styrofoam wreath. You'll want to space the three different colors evenly around the wreath before gluing them in place with hot glue. Don't forget to add pom-poms to the sides of the wreath as well.
Start filling in the remaining gaps on the wreath with colored yarn pom-poms. You'll need two packages of red pom-poms, one package of green pom-poms, and one package of white pom-poms to cover the wreath. Add one color at a time to the wreath, spacing them out evenly around the tops and the sides.
I added the two packages of red pom-poms last, using them to fill in any remaining gaps around the top and sides of the wreath.
Hang your pom-pom wreath with a length of Christmas Pom-Pom Trim. Add some sisal trees around the base of your wreath for a festive vignette. If you love these yarn pom-poms as much as I do, check out this Simple Santa Wreath and DIY Santa Claus Stockings using the white pom-poms!
