If you grew up watching The Golden Girls like I did, then you remember Blanche Devereaux's chic pink and green tropical themed bedroom. We turned the look into a fetching backdrop for our Golden Girls Themed Bachelorette Party and be-leaf me, it was a hit! Not only does it provide an air of tropical ambiance for the party, but it makes for an awesome selfie backdrop. Win-win!
Open the DIY Photobooth Backdrop Board and cut along the lines to separate the board into 3 individual tall pieces.
Take the backdrop boards to a well-ventilated space and spray paint each piece light pink. Alternately you could mix magenta acrylic paint and white acrylic paint together to achieve a light pink to hand paint each board.
While the paint on the backdrop boards is drying, paint several Large Artificial Monstera Leaves and Artificial Tropical Leaves with gold spray paint.
Once the paint has dried on the backdrop boards and leaves, use hot glue to attach Large Artificial Monstera Leaves and Artificial Tropical Leaves, Metallic Gold Palm Leaves, Metallic Gold Tropical Leaves, Medium Polyester Palm Leaves and leaves from a Faux Palm with Gold Accents Garland and a Faux Tropical Palm Garland to each of the backdrop boards. Be sure to vary the direction of the leaves for visual interest.
Follow the directions on the back of the backdrop boards to stand them up. Place each of the boards against your focal wall, leaving 2-3" between each one.
Style your dessert table and other party items around the backdrop and then simply move them aside to create a chic selfie station at the end of the party!
