First, set up the Tombstone Cardboard Halloween Decoration. I chose to use the tombstone with the cross on top for its height. The remaining tombstones will be used in the DIY Zombie Party Graveyard Backdrop. Water down pale blue paint, 1/2 water, 1/2 paint, to create a lighter paint wash. Paint the tombstones with the watered down blue wash.

Next, use a Bamboo Skewer to poke holes through each side of the tombstone approximately 1-2" from the outer edge. Thread the purple twine from the Bright Baker's Twine Assortment through each hole and tie at the back. Pull tight before tying. This twine will hold a row of prizes. Repeat to create additional prize rows. Tip: Measure the length of the prize to determine the placement of the next row down.

Write "Prizes" and prize points to the left of each row using a sharpie. If you don't feel comfortable with your own handwriting you could use stickers, glue our free Prize Game Printable onto the tombstone or cut the letters out in vinyl using a vinyl cutting machine.

Tip: Download and print out the free template HERE. Scribble over the back of the paper & words with pencil. Turn the paper over and use the same pencil to trace the outline of the letters onto the tombstone. Then write over the transferred outline with sharpie.

Next, spray paint an Adult's Rotted Zombie Hand apple green, adding small bits of red paint to nails and gashes to create a kid-friendly zombie hand. Glue this to the top of the tombstone as if it was grabbing for the prizes below.
