The Drunken Sailor is a tasty, nautical-themed blue cocktail perfect for sipping at a coastal bridal shower. The delicious, tropical flavored libation will have your mermaids swimming back to the bar for another!

Ingredients:
Makes 1 Cocktail
  • 1 oz. Blue Curacao
  • 1 oz. Coconut Rum
  • 1 oz. Vodka
  • 1 t. Lemon Juice
  • 1 Large Maraschino Cherry
  • Ice

Using a cocktail jigger, measure out one ounce of Blue Curacao and add to a stainless steel martini shaker filled with ice.

Add one ounce of coconut rum to the martini shaker. This gives the drink a delightful tropical flavor that your guests will appreciate.

Add one ounce of vodka to the shaker, as well. There are many varieties of vodka in stores; this handmade version is a nice one for making a delicious blue cocktail.

Add a teaspoon of lemon juice to the beverage. For this recipe, we opted for bottled lemon juice, but fresh squeezed would be lovely, too!

Place the top on your martini shaker and give the drink a few good shakes. Then, pour over ice in a stemless wine glass, like this wave patterned stemless wine glass.

Add lemon lime soda to taste, then top off with a bright red maraschino cherry, if desired. Anchor Cocktail napkins personalized with the phrase, "Let's Get Nauti", are a cute addition for catching drips.
