Give regular Sisal Trees an updated look that's new and fresh. Typically, sisal trees come in traditional colors like green and white. If you're like me and are less traditional, simply apply a coat of spray paint, sprinkle with glitter, and add some decorative pearls. With just a few simple steps, you can create your own embellished sisal trees. These trees can be placed on shelves, in lanterns or on tablescapes. Using your blue painter's tape, put tape around the bottom of the Green Sisal Trees. You want to make sure that you don't get paint on the wooden base before you begin spray painting them.
Spray paint the Green Sisal Trees using your choice of spray paint. I opted to use 5 different colors based on my color palette of pink, white, navy, teal, and mint. When you spray paint the trees, make sure you spray paint them from all angles (above, below, and straight on). I only used 2 coats.
Right after you apply the second coat of spray paint, quickly sprinkle the Sisal Tree with Iridescent Glitter. The glitter gives the trees a flocked look. Sprinkle as much glitter as you'd like. You can never have enough glitter if you ask me.
Gently remove all the blue painter's tape from the base of the trees. This is tedious but super rewarding.
Using the Surebonder® Low Temperature Mini Glue Gun and Surebonder® Mega Glue Stick Pack glue Pink and White Pearl Beads and Mini Pearls on each of the large trees.
