Start the fall season with gratitude by making this "thankful, grateful, blessed" wood sign. The wood plank sign decorated with burlap leaves and burlap pumpkins is the perfect piece of fall decor to add to a bookshelf, gallery wall, or fireplace mantel. The combination of wood, galvanized metal, and burlap gives the DIY sign a cozy, farmhouse feel. Pair the sign with some ceramic gold dipped pumpkins and DIY embroidery hoop orbs for a pretty fall vignette. Be sure to download the free printable stencil here before you get started.
Paint the "blessed" galvanized metal sign with orange acrylic craft paint and a foam brush. You can always keep the sign unpainted if you prefer the natural metal look!
Add the words "thankful" and "grateful" to your offset stained wood plank sign. I cut the letters from vinyl using a cutting machine, but you can also use this free printable to trace or cut out the letters for your sign. Add "blessed" to the sign with a couple dabs of hot glue on the back.
Decorate your fall sign by adding a variety of burlap leaves and burlap pumpkins around the words with a small dab of hot glue.
Hang your sign or prop it up on a shelf to welcome in fall with gratitude! Pair the sign with some ceramic gold dipped pumpkins and these DIY embroidery hoop orbs for a pretty fall vignette.
