Bring the cozy feeling of fall indoors with this soft yarn pom-pom covered pumpkin! You can make this Hello Fall sign with a wood pumpkin, craft paint and a few packages of pre-made yarn pom-poms. The substantial size of the 16" by 15" wood pumpkin makes it a great focal point on a mantel, buffet, or bookshelf. Check out how I used the pom-pom pumpkin to decorate my dining room for fall!
Paint the main part of a DIY unfinished wood pumpkin with orange acrylic craft paint and a foam brush. Paint the stem brown. Let dry.
Paint a "Hello Fall" sign from this set of DIY wood fall cutouts with white acrylic craft paint.
Glue the Hello Fall sign to the front of the painted pumpkin with hot glue.
Add orange yarn pom-poms all around the pumpkin. You will need three packages of pom-poms to cover it completely. Glue brown yarn pom-poms on the stem.
