Yes, it's true! You can make cupcakes that really glow-in-the-dark! Wow your guests with these insanely cool edible Glow in the Dark Cupcakes! - 1 Box Cake Mix (plus ingredients called for on box)
- 2 Tubs White Frosting
- 1 c. Tonic Water
- Sprinkles
- 1 Package Jello
- Black Light
Bake cupcakes according to instructions on cake mix box. Let cool.
Pipe white frosting onto cupcakes and place cupcakes on a pan in the freezer.
Add 1 cup boiling water to Jello packet and whisk until Jello mix is dissolved.
Add 1 cup chilled tonic water to the jello liquid and whisk. Let the mixture cool to room temperature. Gently stir the mixture every few minutes to make sure jello does not set.
Remove cupcakes from freezer and carefully dip frosting into Jello mixture.
Place cupcakes back on baking sheet and put them back into freezer for about 5 minutes.
Remove cupcakes from freezer and repeat dipping process 4-5 more times for best results (placing the cupcakes back in the freezer for 5 minutes between each time).
