Serving a beautiful Amuse-bouche is a lovely way to have your guests cleanse their palette in preparation for the delicious meal to be served. And it's even more fabulous when this delectable little bite can coordinate perfectly with your wedding color palette. We whipped up this Grapefruit Pomegranate Granita for our recent Pink, Black and Gold Wedding and couldn't be happier with how it turned out.

Ingredients:
20 Granita Cups
  • 16 oz. Pomegranate Juice
  • 1/2 c. Freshly Squeezed Grapefruit Juice
  • 1/2 Tbsp. Water
  • 1/2 c. Raw Sugar
  • Fresh Mint Leaves for Garnish

Begin by juicing 1 grapefruit so you have 1/2 c. freshly squeezed grapefruit juice.

In a large bowl, combine the grapefruit juice, pomegranate juice, water and raw sugar and whisk together until the sugar has completely dissolved.

Pour the mixture into an 8 or 9"loaf pan, cover with plastic wrap and freeze for a minimum of 6 hours.

Once frozen, simply scrape the granita using a large spoon and dish 1/4 c. into each Mini Plastic Pedestal Container and top with a small, fresh mint leaf. Serve the granita with a Clear Mini Appetizer Plastic Spoon. Your guests will simply adore this subtly sweet, refreshing treat!
