One of our favorite things to do when styling events is to take one piece of decor and utilize it in a totally unique way. For our recent Pink, Black and Gold Wedding, we took the already chic Rose Gold Wire Candle Holders and turned them into a fabulous floral-filled piece of suspending decor that hung over top of our dining table. This simple project served as the perfect statement piece for our event and we can't wait to show you how it's done!
Begin by adding a coat of Metallic Gold Spray Paint to 2 sets of Rose Gold Candle Holders. Allow to dry.
Add a light layer of Ballet Pink to the Faux Pink Peony Blossoms. This muted pink tone will look fabulous on these florals.
Add some Hot Glue to the bottom portion of the gold-painted Rose Gold Candle Holder and arrange and glue a variety of faux flowers. We used Faux Peonies, Faux Floral Stems, Faux Cream Rose Bud Stems, small sprigs of Faux Eucalyptus and Frosted Greenery Stems.
Add varing floral arrangements to the remaining 3 Wire Candle Holders.
Cut 4 pieces of fishing line, two long and two medium length. String the longer pieces through the top, center portion of the two smaller Wire Candle Holders and the Medium length fishing line through the larger Candle Holders. Knot each piece of fishing line so it can then be hung on the Command Hooks.
Space out and stick 4 Command Hooks on the ceiling running the length of your table. Hang your DIY Suspending Decor, alternating between the larger and smaller Candle Holders. Your Suspending Decor is now ready to be admired and enjoyed by all your guests!
