When we think of spring we think of gorgeous flowers blooming, bright and refreshing colors and beautiful, fresh elements of nature. For our recent Black and White Striped Floral Bridal Shower we wanted to bring this spring inspiration into our event's backdrop and buffet table as a gorgeous and feminine but modern way to welcome guests. You can create this look for your own event by following our simple tutorial with a few chic supplies!
Start by using 3M strips to suspend a long length of Black & White Striped Gossamer to your backdrop area. We used 3M strips because they are stronger than tape and won't damage your wall.
Gather up a variety of sizes of foam flowers including Extra Small Faux Flowers,Small Faux Flowers and, Medium Faux Flowers. Have a big space to fill? Then add in some large or extra large flowers too!
While you are waiting for the flowers to completely dry, start working on the centerpiece of the backdrop by inserting a pink piece of card stock from the Pastel Paper Pack into the center of the Personalized Striped Bridal Shower Frame Cutout. Add a custom detail by using a Black Bulletin Board Letter to monogram the center of the sign. Then hang the cutout on the Black & White Striped Gossamer backdrop.
Arrange your flowers in an eye pleasing manner on the Black & White Striped Gossamer backdrop around the personalized cut out. We mixed up our sizes and colors. Use additional 3M strips to hang the flowers. This will ensure that you can reuse your beautiful flowers at a later date and will allow you to rearrange your flowers if you aren't certain of placement.
Now that the backdrop is complete, it's time to start arranging the buffet table. Lay a strip of Black & White Striped Gossamer down the front of the buffet. Paint a Scalloped Edge Tray with gold spray paint.
Add a few Black & White Striped Bridal Shower Beverage Napkin to the center for a chic look.
Whip up our Pink Lemonade Berry Wine Spritzer and serve it in Stemless Wine Glasses with a Black Striped Paper Straw on the Scalloped Edge Tray.
Personalize six Gold Base Bud Vases with Monogrammed Black & White Stripe Shower Favor Stickers and fill them with Faux Eucalyptus Stems. Display them alongside the Scalloped Edge Tray for an elegant look.
Add Personalized Black & White Striped Wine Bottle Label to wine bottles and a Bright Pink Ribbon bow for guests to enjoy all event long.
Add a fun favor detail by creating a custom favor box. Start by assembling the Mini Hot Pink Favor Boxes.
Once the Mini Hot Pink Favor Box is assembled and filled with candies or another small favor, add a strip of Black & White Patterned Washi Tape around the center of the box.
Next, place a Monogrammed Black & White Stripe Shower Favor Sticker on the front to coordinate with the theme of the shower. Then display on the buffet for guests to pick up on their way out of your event.
Place a Wide White and Gold Ceramic Vase on a White Ceramic Stand and fill it with Pink Peonies and Faux Eucalyptus.
Using a bit of fishing wire and a clear 3M hook, suspend a "Mrs." Gold Calligraphy Sign from the front of the buffet.
