A centerpiece should set the tone for any occasion, and when we were planning our Black and White Striped Floral Bridal Shower we knew we wanted to incorporate plenty of spring attributes! Cascading flowers and greenery, chic patterned pedestals, bold and modern vases (and of course some custom wine bottles) has us dreaming of bright and romantic spring days! You can create this high end look at home for less with our creative DIY tutorial and a few simple supplies!
Start by layering your table in a magenta Tablecloth Roll and a long strip of Black & White Striped Gossamer to act as a table runner. To achieve the perfect width, we folded the Black & White Striped Gossamer in half.
Next, get crafty and spray paint 2 Diamond Cut Pedestal Dishes in a chic metallic gold color. Allow the pedestals to dry completely before moving on to the next step.
Place a brick of floral foam inside each Diamond Cut Pedestal Dishes and secure it into place with hot glue.
Begin arranging a mix of faux flowers and greenery including Faux Wisteria, Roses, Faux Eucalyptus Stems, Pink Rosebuds, Faux Succulents, Faux Pink Peony buds and Frosted Greenery Stems. By inserting the base of each flower or piece of greenery throughout the foam within the Diamond Cut Pedestal Dishes. There is really no rhyme or reason to creating this arrangement other than spreading out the varieties of foliage. After you have created both of your Pedestal arrangements, place each one at either end of the Gossamer striped table runner.
After you have created both of the pedestal arrangements, add Faux Eucalyptus Stems and Frosted Greenery Stems to each Wide White and Gold Ceramic Vase. Then place the Vases in between the Diamond Cut Pedestal arrangements on the Black & White Striped Gossamer table runner.
Trim the large Pink Peony Bloom from each faux peony plant so the stem is only a few inches long.
Now that all of the Peonies are trimmed, place them in between each of your four floral arrangements.
Remove the label from your favorite bottle of wine and replace it with a Personalized Black & White Striped Wine Bottle Label.
Add a small Bright Pink Ribbon bow detail for a girly touch. Then place the wine in the center of the centerpiece for everyone to sip on and enjoy.
