Make the cutest mermaid party centerpiece that looks just like bubbles in the ocean! Clear balloons mimic ocean bubbles and the blue box they're in looks like ocean. Use a foam brush to paint a coat of paint across the entire box, including the inside. Let the paint dry completely, then repeat to add a second coat.
Measure the inside of your box. Use a knife to cut the foam block into a piece or two so that it fills well inside the blue box and covers the entire inside base.
Blow up some clear balloons in a variety of different smaller sizes. Place a balloon into the end of a clear balloons stick. Trim the stick with scissors so the balloon isn't too high. You want to be able to see the balloons but not see the foam underneath.
Place the balloon stick into the foam. Keep adding more and more balloons on sticks until the centerpiece is nice and full and you can't see the foam or inside of the box.
You can also use a glue gun to glue the last few balloons onto the other ones to hide any sticks or holes in the balloons.
Place the finished bubbles centerpiece in the middle of the party table for all your little mermaids to enjoy!
