The Peacock Plume Cocktail is a stunning beverage blending richly colored blue curacao and vodka, along with lemon lime soda. The magic happens as a purple ribbon develops in the glass, upon the introduction of a splash of cherry grenadine. Purple candy crystals are a beautiful addition to the rim of this elegant libation, finished off with a generous squeeze of lime.
- 2 oz. Blue Curacao
- 2 oz. Vodka
- Lemon Lime Soda to Taste
- 1 t. Grenadine Syrup
- Ice
In a stainless steel martini shaker filled about half full with ice, add the Blue Curacao.
Next, add the vodka to the martini shaker. Ensuring that the cap is on, give the drink several shakes to blend and chill the ingredients.
Pour into your prepared glass. Add lemon lime soda to taste. Be sure to keep a cocktail napkin handy to catch any drips.
Add a splash of grenadine syrup to the beverage, and you'll see the blue drink take on a ribbon of beautiful purple color, just like a peacock feather.
