Add a major pop of color to your party table with this rainbow table runner made from an unexpected supply - craft sticks! The rainbow craft sticks come pre-colored and in a pack of 300, so you'll have plenty to make a table runner long enough for your table. The sturdy table runner can be used again and again! We paired ours with this rainbow party fringe table skirt for a striking table for my daughter's rainbow unicorn pool party!
Arrange craft sticks in rainbow order (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple). Lay out a row of craft sticks along the top half of the burlap table runner, starting at the end of the runner. Repeat with a second layer directly below. This table runner is the perfect width for two rows of the craft sticks.
Adhere each craft stick to the table runner with a bead of hot glue along the back. Because the burlap has small holes in it, you'll want to protect your surface from any hot glue seeping through. I used an inexpensive plastic placemat underneath the area that I was gluing. Continue working your way down the runner, gluing two rows of craft sticks in rainbow order.
Once you have reached the end of the runner, you can easily roll it up and store it until you are ready to display the table runner.
I paired the table runner with a rainbow party fringe table skirt and rainbow unicorn garland for a very colorful party table for my daughter's rainbow unicorn pool party! Be sure to check out the DIY Rainbow Sunglasses too!
