This simple Easter craft will be a hit with your kids! Popsicle stick Easter baskets make for a cute kids’ table centerpieces and are a fun DIY craft to keep little hands busy! These DIY Easter baskets make a great preschool or Kindergarten craft too. Fill with green Easter grasschocolate eggs and some fluffy baby chicks!

The base of my basket is 11 craft sticks wide, which ends up being the length of one stick.

Glue the base together. Use 2-3 craft sticks across the finished base for extra support.

Trim the rounded edges of the base off with scissors. This will make gluing the fence on easier.

Now it is time to create the fence. Take one craft stick and hold it upright. Glue one craft stick to the top perpendicular. Repeat at the bottom. Add another parallel craft stick to the other side. Next add two more parallel craft sticks, evenly spaced apart.

Repeat step 4 for each side of your fence. Glue the fence to outside edge of the base.

That’s it! Pretty easy right? You should have a handful of these DIY Easter baskets whipped up in no time if you are using hot glue. White glue will need to sit and dry overnight. Then once dried, fill your Easter basket with grass, baby chicks and chocolate Easter eggs.
