It can be hard to incorporate the holidays into your wedding without looking over the top. Luckily, these DIY snow globe place cards are festive, easy to make and best of all can be custom painted to match your wedding colors! These place cards give a modern spin on traditional holiday decor. Simply follow the directions below to create these DIY snow globe place cards.
Cover the wooden bottom of the sisal trees with painters tape. To make spray painting easier, attach a glue dot to the bottom of each sisal tree and place on your backdrop to spray paint. This ensures the tree won't fall over when wet and you will be able to spray all sides at once. Once your trees are secure you can spray paint.
Once your sisal trees have dried it is time to start arranging your snow globe place card. Using a glue gun fill a medium round hanging globe with two sisal trees and a mini deer. Then cover the bottom of your globe with fake snow. Not only will the fake snow look attractive but it will hide any errant spray paint on the base of your trees.
Using glue dots attach your snow globe place card to a pastel cupcake board.
Use scissors to cut out the name tags from the provided free printable. Apply glue to both ends of the name tags and dip in gold glitter.
Finish your snow globes by attaching the name tags using glue dots.
