When you're hosting a fall wedding or party there's almost no drink better than warm apple cider. Today I am going to show you a fun twist on the traditional recipe with added spices and sliced oranges. I absolutely love serving this recipe in mason jars and we have the perfect daisy lids and fun straws. This beverage pairs perfectly with our Fall Burgundy, Navy and Rose Gold Wedding!
- 1 Gallon Apple Cider
- 1/2 tsp. Cinnamon
- Brown Sugar
- 1 tsp. Ground Allspice
- 1/4 tsp. Ground Nutmeg
- 1 Orange
In a large pot over medium heat add in apple cider. Stir in allspice, nutmeg, and cinnamon. If you like your apple cider sweeter add in brown sugar to taste.
Next cut up an orange and add to your pot. Simmer on medium heat for 10 minutes so that the orange flavor infuses into your cider.
Remove the oranges from your pot and pour your spiced orange cider into mason jars. Top with navy striped straws and daisy mason jar lids to serve.
