Let's go star gazing with these DIY Star Gazing Kaleidoscopes. This is the perfect activity for an Under the Stars Movie Party and a fun way to keep the kids entertained this summer. Download the free printables here to make your own kaleidoscopes!
Download and print the DIY kaleidoscope printable on white paper. Cut out and glue to the front of the cardboard kaleidoscope piece in the DIY Kaleidoscope kit.
Turn the kaleidoscope template over and fold down the top and bottom edges. Glue them down as shown.
Gently roll the tube and insert the tabs into the slots to secure in place.
Take the reflective material provided in the DIY Kaleidoscope Kit, fold it, and use the small white stickers to secure in place. Insert the reflective material into the cardboard tube.
Fill the bottom of the large cup with beads, gold star-shaped confetti and silver star-shaped confetti.
Add both plastic pieces to the ends of the kaleidoscope. You may need to add a dab of glue to secure them in place.
Let your party guests create their own DIY Kaleidoscopes and go "star-gazing!"
