Great for the purpose
I purchased these hats for my 5 year old twins birthday. It was a dinosaur theme. For the purpose of what I wanted them for, these hats were great. I decorated them with the children's name and dinosaur stickers. The hat it self is easy to work with, but it is very cheaply made. Very thin plastic. I think it depends on what you want to use these hats for. All that being said, my boys and their friends loved the hats as they were exploring for 'dinosaur fossils'.

Safari hats
Younger kids 3-7 or so would enjoy these hats. Not big enough for older kids. Made of soft plastic so kids have to be careful not to break them.

too small
Too Small! Very cute helmets for safari party. Our 6 year old was pretty disappointed that it was too small after she spent time decorating it. I was really unhappy that it was too small for the 3 year old. It might have fit the 1 year old, but she wasn't interested. These are practically useless unless you decorate with them - but then you wouldn't need a dozen.
