Some do not spin, but for my purposes it does not matter. If I fooled with each one, I am sure that they would spin.

Different October giveaway
Used these as table decorations and giveaways at a Breast Cancer Awareness event. Everyone seemed to like them, and they added a festive air to the event. Had several left over, that I hope to use as package decorations in the near future! These are not super sturdy, but good enough for event purpose.

Great for single use
Had to put together, easy to do, but blue ink all over my clothes and hands afterwards. Did not stay in ground outside for very long. Broke easily.

Economical
Impressed with the quality. Bought 5 units (180 pinwheels) thinking that a lot of them would be defective, but only 1 was. Peeling the white warning sticker (Not intended for children under 3 years of age.) and then placing the pinwheels on the wands was tedious, but it was worth it for the price.

Nice little gifts
We had round stickers made that fit perfectly onto the center of these pinwheels. It was a great way to customize these as a give-a-way!

These worked great for my daughter's wedding
My daughter wanted something different than rice or bubbles for her wedding exit. So since it was a summer wedding she picked yellow and blue pinwheels for the bridesmaids to pass out to the guests as they left the church. It was a beautiful day and they made a great hit with everyone, especially the younger guests while they waited for the Bride and Groom to exit. They photographed beautifully and were super easy to put together and out of 210 we had no damaged ones. We took extra pinwheels to reception and used with decorations at sign in table.

Hope Garden for Child Abuse Awareness
I bought these blue pinwheels to use in a community awareness project for work. I purchased two boxes and intended to use both boxes (36 pinwheels/box). However, the stick of the pinwheel is a straw, so it has no pointy end or sturdiness for inserting them into ground that isn't soft; I made holes with something else. The pinwheels held up for the week the garden was in the yard at our local public library. They stood up to all weather (rain, sun, wind, etc). Wish they were a bit bigger or brighter, but I made it work and the garden was a success. Purchased one of the metal yard stacks to use as the centerpiece to all these blue pinwheels.

Adorable!
These pinwheels were adorable! A bit smaller than I thought but cute (about the size of your palm). Give yourself a little extra time to put them together- the quality is really good for the price.

Didn't work well
The pinwheels were small which in and of itself it would have been fine - but the pinwheel portion didn't even spin
