The plastic used for the pin wheel is very cheap. The size of the fan makes it difficult to create a spin, though the spin does flow just fine when started. If children will be playing with it, I suggest using one dot of super glue inside the hole before inserting the stick. The top falls off easily with any fast movement.

Cute displays
We bought these for Child Abuse Awareness month, and they made a great display. Sometimes the sticks don't slip well into the twirly part of the pinwheels, but these were great and easy!

Some color inconsistencies, but overall quality is good
Good value for the $, but there are some color streaks on the pinwheel, where the red color is not consistent. I found a few in the unit (3 dozen), but I had enough to cull out the less-than-perfect ones to be able to hand out to guests.
The children at birthday parties enjoy being able to take these home at the end of the party!

Spun in the wind
Used to decorate Hay Wagon and added to outdoor table flowers and gave the rest out to kids.. They were very easy to put together and spun in the wind or when blown on strongly.
