“Whooooo” is going to have the cutest pumpkin on the block this Halloween? You are once you make our DIY Animal Pumpkin Owl for this spooktackular holiday! We have turned a basic orange foam pumpkin into a darling animal along with a raccoon and a fox. We used solid colored scrap paper and mini glue dots. If you haven’t used glue dots before – now is your chance! No waiting for glue to dry! We created printable templates for you to cut and trace onto your colored paper. This will make the process of creating these darling animals so much easier.
Print and cut out the pieces from the owl template. Next, trace the pieces onto the colored paper (white, gray, black and orange).
Now start adding the facial elements to the pumpkin. Glue the small black eyes to the medium white eyes to the largest black eyes. Adhere the eyes to the front of the pumpkin. Add the triangle nose just centered below the ears.
Lastly, add the big wings to the sides of the pumpkin. You could even add feather if you wanted to add an extra step!
Enjoy your cute little Halloween owl! This project is perfect for a craft night or for a fun family activity. We are sharing the printable template for this owl, as well as an raccoon and a fox.
