I dare you to try to have a Southwest wedding without a succulent in sight! It just can't and shouldn't be done! Succulents are such a pretty way to incorporate desert charm into your seating chart and double as the perfect take home favor for your guests. This DIY Succulent Seating Chart incorporates a vivid Southwest palette and geometric-patterned design. Coral, aqua, navy and white make the copper & earth tones pop. Follow these simple steps to create your own unique and affordable Santa Fe inspired seating chart.

First, paint the DIY Unfinished Wood Triangle Shelves. Tip: You will need one DIY Unfinished Wood Triangle Shelf for each table at your wedding venue. Paint the top, left panel teal. (outside and outer rim of the frame only, i.e. do not paint the inside of the frame, leave this natural). Then repeat in coral for the top, right panel of the frame.

Next, paint the bottom panel of the frame dark blue. Paint the inside of the frame and outer rim.

Let dry.

Create a table in an excel sheet or word document. Add the names of your guests to the table. Print out on white card stock. Cut the names out to create small name flags. Next, cut Bamboo Skewers to size (i.e. double the height of the box). Then, glue the name flags to the Bamboo Skewers. Repeat for table numbers.

Finally, group the succulents for each table and place on the table in front / lined up with the table numbers sitting in the triangle frames. Note: the unique geometric design and succulent used for each table makes it easy for guests to determine their table assignment.

Tip: Use the same design and succulent on the actual table .
