Set up your own self service temporary tattoo bar at your next party! Kids and adults alike love temporary tattoos. This is a fun activity that is super easy to setup and it’s even easier for the kids to do on their own. Watch your guests have fun and “get inked” throughout the party! Download the Free Get Inked Mini Sign Printable here!  Make sure that you print them at 100% without any scaling or they won’t fit in your mini signs.  I find it easiest to use a paper cutter, but these can also be cut out with scissors too.

Remove the tape and clear inserts. You can put these back in later, but I prefer to leave them out. Party Tip: Your photographs will be social media worthy without the clear inserts.

Decide which tattoos you’d like to offer in your tattoo bar. I wanted to showcase 4 different tattoo designs. Using a glue dot, place one on the back of the tattoo and adhere it to the center of your “Get Inked” mini sign.

Place your completed mini signs in the silver table frames. You can add a mini sign to both sides of the table frame, or you can just add one to display. Since these mini signs can be easily removed, you can reuse these table frames for all of your parties.

You’ll need an easy way to apply these temporary tattoos. Take your black polyester linen napkin and use fabric scissors and cut it into strips. Then take those strips and cut them into even smaller pieces.

Now comes the fun part. Allow your guests to apply their own tattoos. Instruct them to pick their favorite tattoo design that you’ve displayed on the silver table frames. Afterwards they can grab a damp black napkin scrap and hold it on the temporary tattoo until it is saturated. Remove the backing and enjoy your tattoo.

Take a small table and display the tattoo signs so your guests can see their tattoo options. Add the tattoos to a small container so the kids (or adults) can easily grab them. Place a little bit of water into another small bowl and place the napkins in the water so they can absorb the excess water. It’s super simple and is a fun activity for adults and kids to do.
