Ella and Annie came up with four cute windsock crafts to get you started including a ghost, bat, jack-o-lantern and frankenstein windsock. Each windsock craft uses the same craft supplies with the exception of the acrylic paint used to paint each jar. The jars are kid-friendly and easy to work with. What's that soaring above? It's bats of course! Make our bat windsock craft this Halloween and watch as they fly above in the trees. The plastic short jars make this windsock craft safe for kids, leaving parents with no concern for sharp edges you can find on tin can crafts.
Frankenstein is in the house! Create our freakishly cool Frank, the Frankenstein Windsock Craft this Halloween to scare away all the goblins and ghouls. Frankenstein was by far Ella's favorite windsock to create. Make your Frankenstein happy, sad or scary using the black self-adhesive craft foam.
Our Halloween Ghost Windsock Craft is the easiest of our windsock craft ideas to create. You only need to prime the plastic short jars with white spray paint. Add the ghostly details with black craft foam and black streamers. Try using glow in the dark paint or a glow stick to light your ghost up at night time.
Jack, the jack-o-lantern is ready for his Halloween appearance! Ella and Annie created a pumpkin windsock with orange streamers, plastic jars and craft foam. Make sure to paint 2-3 coats of orange acrylic paint to get a vibrant orange color on the jar. Priming the jars before you paint with a color makes all the difference!
